Axon is seeking a Senior Account Manager to drive sales of their products and services to law enforcement agencies. You'll be responsible for managing key accounts and building relationships while navigating complex procurement processes. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to articulate technical solutions.
You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in managing key accounts and driving revenue growth. Your experience includes working with law enforcement or similar sectors, where you’ve developed a deep understanding of the unique challenges and needs of these agencies. You excel at building and maintaining senior-level relationships, ensuring that you can effectively communicate complex solutions to diverse stakeholders. Your ability to navigate procurement processes is well-honed, allowing you to guide your team and clients through the intricacies of purchasing decisions. You are a proactive problem solver, always looking for ways to enhance customer satisfaction and drive success for both your clients and your organization.
You are comfortable with a hybrid work environment, balancing remote work with travel to meet clients and attend important meetings. Your adaptability allows you to thrive in fast-paced settings, and you are motivated by the mission of protecting life and enhancing public safety through technology. You understand the importance of teamwork and collaboration, and you are eager to contribute to a culture that values diverse perspectives and innovative solutions.
Experience in the public safety sector or with law enforcement agencies is a plus, as is familiarity with technical products and services. You may have a background in technology sales or a related field, which would further enhance your ability to articulate the value of Axon’s offerings. A strong network within the law enforcement community can also be beneficial, as it allows you to leverage existing relationships to drive new business opportunities.
As the Key Account Leader at Axon, you will be responsible for managing and growing revenue within designated law enforcement agencies. Your primary focus will be on the top 1200 accounts, where you will work to maximize customer satisfaction and market share. You will take ownership of the sales process, from initial outreach to closing deals, ensuring that you meet or exceed your sales quotas. Your role will involve providing technical and administrative product information, conducting demonstrations, and offering product training to clients, ensuring they fully understand the capabilities and benefits of Axon’s solutions.
You will collaborate closely with internal teams, including product development and customer support, to ensure that client needs are met and that feedback is communicated effectively. Your ability to articulate complex solutions will be crucial in helping clients understand how Axon’s products can address their specific challenges. You will also be responsible for developing strategic plans to engage with key stakeholders within your accounts, ensuring that you are positioned as a trusted advisor and partner.
In this role, you will travel approximately 50% of the time, visiting clients and attending industry events to represent Axon and its mission. You will report directly to the Director of Sales for the Central region, working closely with them to align your strategies with broader company goals. Your success will be measured not only by sales figures but also by the strength of the relationships you build and the impact you have on the communities you serve.

We offer competitive compensation packages, including performance-based incentives, to reward your contributions to our mission.
