TPS Implementation Engineer

Who you are

You have a background in material engineering and manufacturing processes, with a focus on thermal protection systems. Your experience includes developing and optimizing manufacturing and assembly processes, particularly in aerospace applications. You are skilled in defining and qualifying joints, adhesives, and interface materials to ensure structural integrity and thermal performance. You understand the importance of establishing process parameters and inspection criteria in collaboration with manufacturing and quality teams. You are familiar with aerospace standards and have experience leading the qualification of special processes. You are detail-oriented and capable of preparing test samples for material characterization.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes related to thermal protection systems. You will define and qualify joints and adhesives, ensuring they meet the required structural integrity and thermal performance standards. You will work closely with manufacturing and quality teams to establish process parameters and inspection criteria. Additionally, you will support the definition and validation of production equipment and tooling necessary for TPS manufacturing and integration. You will lead the qualification of special processes according to aerospace standards and company requirements, ensuring that all project milestones are met.
