Job Description

**About The Role** This is a strategic leadership role that focuses on continuous improvement and innovation that delivers on key objectives for our travel and expense team. You will partner closely with cross functional teams and be accountable for high impact projects required to meet business needs.  The role also presents an opportunity to lead, mentor and drive success through direct reports. **What You’ll Do:** - Hold accountability for the people and the technology required to support the objectives of the function over multiple projects. - Define, communicate, and hold accountability for OKRs and a digital strategy that aligns with the company’s goals & culture. - Drive a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team - Identify, and launch, AI and automation that improves employee experience, drives compliance, and scales operations. - Lead team initiatives designed to drive outputs on large scale projects. - Make key day-to-day operational and tactical decisions that impact project delivery, timelines, and resource usage. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including FinTech, Accounting, Financial Risk Management, and Eng to ensure T&E meets the needs of the business. - Benchmark program performance against industry best practices and continuously identify opportunities for improvement and innovation. - Oversee the controls, administration, and integration of core T&E applications. - Responsible for identifying, executing, and measuring cost saving and avoidance opportunities within the program. - Directly lead, mentor, and foster growth for direct reports on the team; create a development roadmap for the team. - Serves as a representative for the organization to the broader internal and external community; plays a key role in building and maintaining Team’s brand. **Basic Qualifications** - 7+ years of experience in T&E - Bachelors degree **Preferred Qualifications** - 10+ years of experience in T&E - Experience with market leading T&E suppliers and technology - Experience with vendor & stakeholder management - Experience with cross functional project management - Experience managing a global footprint For Dallas, TX-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$152,000 per year - USD$169,000 per year. For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$169,000 per year - USD$188,000 per year. For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
