Job Description

Amazon's Business Mobility Services (BMS) team delivers world-class immigration support and strategic consulting to Amazon's global workforce, businesses, and candidates. The team combines the expertise of project managers, analysts, and immigration specialists to serve as trusted advisors to Amazon's leadership and partner organizations. Through centralized management of immigration processes and vendor relationships, BMS drives continuous enhancement in service delivery while optimizing costs, maintaining superior quality standards, and ensuring stringent compliance across Amazon's immigration ecosystem.

We are seeking an Immigration Consultant to join our team in Manila, Philippines. This pivotal role combines immigration case management across diverse jurisdictions along with tracking and reporting focusing on process optimization and compliance.

As the single point of contact for employees across immigration lifecycles, the Immigration Consultant is will manage cases, develop strategic solutions, and collaborate across functions to enhance operational efficiency. The role will be expected to leverage data tools, navigate multi-jurisdictional compliance, and streamline processes that will be crucial in delivering seamless immigration support for sponsored employees and their families primarily across APAC and EMEA countries.


Key job responsibilities
• Manage high-volume immigration cases across APAC and EMEA, ensuring strict compliance with diverse local regulations and optimizing processing efficiency. This will include ensuring all operational metrics are met such as First Response Time, Case Prep Time, SLA adherence, filing accuracy, clear communication and overall customer sentiment.
• Devise and execute strategic solutions for complex immigration challenges, leveraging customer feedback and defect analysis to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Serve as the point of contact for partial or entire immigration lifecycle management, expertly coordinating documentation, government interactions, and multi-stakeholder communications.
• Lead cross-functional operational enhancement projects, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality service levels while driving innovation in immigration processes.
• Orchestrate seamless collaboration between recruitment, onboarding, HR teams, and external vendors to create a cohesive, streamlined immigration ecosystem.
• Leverage advanced data analytics tools (SQL, Excel, Tableau) to extract actionable insights, driving strategic decision-making in immigration processes.
• Architect and implement comprehensive reporting solutions that transform complex immigration data into clear, decision-enabling visualizations for stakeholders.
• Participate and contribute towards projects, initiatives and team goals.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in immigration programs.
• Strong written & verbal communication skills.
• Stakeholder management skills.
• Business or data analytics exposure.
• Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
• Master’s Degree in related field.
• Proven ability to identify process defects, make recommendations for process improvements, and implement process improvements.
• Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau).
• Knowledge of APAC and EMEA employment laws
