Block is seeking a Senior Sales Account Executive to join their Outside Sales Team in Melbourne. You'll create outbound strategies and work with various merchant verticals to drive sales. This role requires a strong background in new logo sales.
You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in acquiring new clients and managing accounts effectively. With at least 5 years of experience in a sales role, you understand the nuances of the sales process and can navigate complex sales cycles. Your self-starter attitude drives you to create innovative outbound strategies that resonate with potential clients. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable working independently while also collaborating with a team.
Your experience spans various merchant verticals, allowing you to adapt your approach based on the unique needs of each client. You possess strong communication skills, enabling you to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels. You are data-driven, using analytics to inform your sales strategies and decisions. You are passionate about helping businesses grow and succeed, and you understand how integrated solutions can unlock value for sellers.
Experience in the financial services or payments industry is a plus, as it gives you insight into the challenges and opportunities faced by merchants today. Familiarity with omnichannel solutions and integrated payment systems will help you connect with clients more effectively. A background in technology sales can also be beneficial, as it allows you to understand the technical aspects of the solutions you are selling.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing your own outbound sales strategy to attract new clients. You will work closely with the Business Development team to build a robust pipeline of potential clients across various merchant verticals.
