You have 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, specifically in designing and developing hardware components for high-performance applications. Your expertise includes flow control devices such as valves and pumps, and you are familiar with the challenges of operating in extreme environments. You possess strong problem-solving skills and a creative mindset, allowing you to develop novel solutions that push the boundaries of space technology.

You are proficient in using design software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks, enabling you to create detailed models and simulations of mechanical systems. Your background includes experience with manufacturing processes, testing methodologies, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. You are committed to ensuring mission success and are willing to flex across various disciplines within the product life cycle.

Desirable

Experience with aerospace components or systems is a plus, as is familiarity with high-pressure and high-temperature applications. What you'll do

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer on the Starship Components team, you will be responsible for developing innovative flow control devices and mechanisms that are critical to the Starship and Super Heavy systems.
