Esri is hiring a Data Scientist specializing in GeoAI to develop AI and deep learning models for geospatial analysis. You'll work with Python and PyTorch to create tools and APIs that leverage GIS data. This role requires a strong background in machine learning and geospatial technologies.
You have a solid background in data science and artificial intelligence, with a focus on geospatial analysis. Your experience includes developing deep learning models and working with various modalities of GIS data, particularly satellite imagery. You are proficient in Python and have hands-on experience with machine learning libraries, especially PyTorch. You understand the intricacies of geospatial datasets and are passionate about applying your skills to solve real-world challenges. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working with cross-functional teams to drive innovation in geospatial AI. You are eager to stay updated with the latest research in spatial data science and apply it to your work.
Experience with ArcGIS and familiarity with APIs for geospatial data processing would be a plus. Knowledge of additional deep learning frameworks and tools can enhance your contributions to the team. A background in remote sensing and computer vision will also be beneficial as you develop models for various GIS tasks.
