Elastic is seeking a Senior Account Manager to drive strategic enterprise sales across named accounts. You'll focus on long-term account strategy and execution, influencing technical and executive stakeholders. This role requires a proven track record in complex sales environments.

Who you are

You have a strong background in enterprise sales, with a proven track record of success in managing large, complex accounts. Your experience spans at least 5 years, during which you've developed a deep understanding of strategic account management and the nuances of selling in competitive environments. You thrive in roles that require you to operate as a business owner, taking full accountability for your assigned accounts and driving measurable outcomes.

You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to engage effectively with both technical and executive stakeholders. Your ability to influence and align diverse teams around a common vision is a key strength. You are results-oriented, with a focus on long-term growth and the ability to create and execute strategic plans that lead to sustained success.

You are comfortable navigating the complexities of enterprise sales, understanding the importance of building relationships and trust with clients. You have a knack for identifying new use cases and opportunities for platform expansion, ensuring that your accounts derive maximum value from the solutions you provide.

Desirable

Experience in the AI or search technology sectors is a plus, as is familiarity with cloud-based solutions. You are adaptable and open to learning, always seeking to enhance your skills and knowledge in the ever-evolving landscape of technology sales.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for building Elastic into a strategic platform across search, observability, and security within each assigned account. You will develop and execute a comprehensive account strategy that aligns with the client's business objectives, ensuring that you meet and exceed their expectations. Your work will involve engaging with key stakeholders to understand their needs and challenges, and you will leverage this insight to drive platform adoption and expansion.

You will be accountable for the end-to-end sales process, from multi-year planning and executive alignment through opportunity creation and deal closure.
