What you'll do

In this role, you will lead security and security-systems projects within the AWS Data Center Security team. Your responsibilities will include managing the design, installation, and evolution of physical security systems to protect AWS data centers. You will collaborate with local security teams to ensure they have the necessary technical knowledge and resources to meet ongoing security missions. You will also be responsible for interpreting Threat Assessments and implementing security mitigations tailored to the unique challenges of each data center. Your leadership will be essential in driving projects that have a regional impact, ensuring that all security measures align with AWS's high standards.

You will work closely with various teams, including engineering and operations, to develop and implement security programs that enhance the overall security posture of AWS data centers. Your role will involve regular communication with stakeholders to report on project progress and address any challenges that arise. You will also be expected to stay updated on industry trends and best practices in physical security, ensuring that AWS remains at the forefront of security innovation.
