Amazon is seeking a Program Manager for their Mexico Payments team to lead the strategy and execution of payment experiences. This role requires strong analytical skills and a customer-focused approach to optimize payment journeys.
You are an experienced payments professional with a strong background in managing payment experiences. You have a proven track record of leading strategies that enhance customer satisfaction and optimize payment flows. Your analytical skills are complemented by a customer obsession that drives you to deliver best-in-class payment experiences. You thrive in high ambiguity environments and possess a high tolerance for frustration, enabling you to navigate challenges effectively.
You have experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Payment Business Operations, Fraud & Abuse, and Technology, to achieve key performance metrics. Your ability to manage relationships with internal stakeholders across various business units is a key strength. You are comfortable working with data analytics to develop and track performance metrics that inform your strategies.
In this role, you will lead the end-to-end payment experience strategy across all payment methods for Amazon.com.mx. You will drive improvements in the customer payment journey from checkout to post-purchase, focusing on optimizing payment flows to enhance customer satisfaction and reduce friction. Your responsibilities will include developing strategies to increase wallet penetration and payment method diversity, as well as leading initiatives to migrate customers to lower-cost, higher-engagement payment methods.
You will collaborate closely with various teams, including Product Managers, to define and execute the user experience strategy for all payment methods. Your role will involve strategic planning to ensure that the payment experience aligns with Amazon's broader business goals. You will be responsible for driving improvements in key metrics such as Approval Success Rate (ASR) and Payment Success Rate (PSR), ensuring that the payment experience meets the needs of customers effectively.
