Job Description
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in program management, or relevant process or product development experience with electro-mechanical products.
- 5 years of experience in hardware manufacturing engineering, including manufacturing process development, fixture design and validation, and influence of product design teams.
- Experience in glue and adhesive application.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Mechanical, Material, or Industrial Engineering.
- Experience in high-volume and high-precision consumer electronics.
- Experience with design for manufacturing (DFM) methodologies in areas including but not limited to manual and automated precision electronic assembly, sealing, adhesives, metal fabrication and finishing, injection molding, and leak testing.
- Experience utilizing NX and other CAD tools to perform tolerance analysis, Design of Experiments (DOE), and Gauge R&R (GRR) to validate manufacturing precision and statistical performance.
- Experience working cross-functionally with global teams and manufacturing partners.

- Lead and coordinate sustainability and repairability-focused initiatives in collaboration with design, ID, and service engineering partners.
- Product definition and architecture selection, in collaboration with design and ID teams, via early DFx engagement in the areas of sustainability and repairability.
- Drive manufacturing and automation process development by defining functional requirements and collaborating with external partners to design, test, and implement custom fixtures and equipment.
- Optimize manufacturing, rework, and repair efficiency by analyzing workflows and production capacity to redesign equipment layouts and space utilization.
