Hightouch is seeking a Backend Engineer for their Journeys product team to build the orchestration layer for modern marketing automation. You'll work with technologies like JavaScript, Node.js, and AWS to create personalized workflows. This role requires experience in building distributed architectures.
You have a strong background in backend engineering, with a focus on building and debugging distributed systems that prioritize reliability and observability. Your experience includes working with JavaScript and Node.js, and you are comfortable with cloud technologies such as AWS. You understand the importance of creating scalable and efficient systems that can handle real-time data and events.
You are a product-minded engineer who is deeply curious about how systems interact over time. As a Backend Engineer on the Journeys team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the orchestration layer that powers modern marketing automation. You will work on creating personalized, multi-step workflows that react to real-time events and customer data. You will participate in system design discussions, where you will architect solutions that are scalable and maintainable.
