Overview

TripActions is seeking a Revenue Operations Analyst to analyze travel and expense data to identify revenue opportunities. You'll work extensively with Excel and Google Slides to present insights to clients. This role requires 2-3 years of experience with large data sets and strong analytical skills.

Job Description

Who you are

You have 2-3 years of experience working with large data sets and synthesizing actionable insights — your strong analytical skills and attention to detail enable you to work effectively with financial data. You are proficient in Excel and Google Sheets, and you have intermediate to advanced skills in Google Slides, allowing you to create compelling presentations. Your background may include a degree in Operations Research, Engineering, Finance, Economics, or Business Analytics, and experience in B2B SaaS, Finance, or FP&A is a plus. You are a motivated individual with a passion for financial analysis and enjoy presenting insights while collaborating closely with sales teams.

Desirable

Experience with SQL is a plus, but not required. Prior work experience in consulting can also be beneficial as you navigate complex data and present findings to various stakeholders.

What you'll do

In this role, you will collect, clean, and analyze travel and expense data from prospect customers to understand revenue opportunities. You will work across global teams and segmented sales teams to run analyses and create presentations that clearly visualize data and insights. You will manage financial calculators to determine the business value of high-priority sales deals and support these deals through the middle and bottom of the opportunity funnel. Presenting your analysis to managers, directors, and executives at prospects’ companies will be a key part of your responsibilities, as will handling objections and arbitrating critical data points between pre and post-sales teams. You will also manage a queue of inbound tickets, prioritizing them based on predefined logic, and adhere to service level agreements to ensure that you meet the requirements for both internal and external customers. Effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders will be essential, as will implementing feedback from internal experts and identifying opportunities for process improvement to ensure consistency globally.

What we offer

At TripActions, you will be part of a dynamic team that values analytical thinking and collaboration. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement, as we believe diverse perspectives lead to better outcomes. You will have the opportunity to grow your skills in a supportive environment while making a significant impact on our revenue operations.
