What you'll do

As a Senior Backend Engineer at Coinbase, you will be part of the Platform Product Group, where your primary responsibility will be to build a trusted, scalable, and compliant platform. You will collaborate closely with product teams to ensure that the backend systems you develop meet the needs of multiple products and services.

You will design and implement high-performance APIs that facilitate seamless interactions between various components of the platform. Your work will involve optimizing existing systems for performance and reliability, as well as troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise in production.

You will participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall technical direction of the team, ensuring that best practices are followed and that the codebase remains maintainable and scalable. You will also mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and helping them grow in their roles.
