Esri is seeking a GIS Account Manager to enhance customer relationships and drive the adoption of geospatial technology. You'll work closely with clients to identify growth opportunities and implement effective strategies. This role requires strong customer orientation and collaboration skills.
You have a strong background in customer relationship management, ideally with experience in geospatial technology or related industries. Your ability to build and maintain relationships is key — you understand the importance of collaboration and teamwork in achieving business goals. You are customer-oriented and enjoy identifying and implementing strategies that address the challenges organizations face. Your understanding of industry knowledge and its relevance to GIS applications allows you to effectively communicate with stakeholders and understand their needs. You are proactive in leveraging social media and other avenues to expand your professional network, and you are comfortable participating in trade shows, workshops, and seminars to promote Esri technology.
In this role, you will be responsible for prospecting, developing, and implementing location strategies for organizations. You will maintain a healthy pipeline of business growth opportunities for both new and existing customers, ensuring that you understand their budgeting and acquisition processes. Your solution selling skills will be crucial as you work to understand the needs and business challenges of your customers. You will collaborate closely with the Global Business Development team to optimize and expand the adoption of Esri technology, identifying new areas of growth and delivering expertise that aligns with customer missions and visions. You will also be expected to articulate the strength and value of Esri technology clearly, helping customers leverage it to achieve their goals.
