OpenAI is hiring a Sales Strategy & Operations professional to guide the Go To Market strategy for Government and Education sectors. You'll collaborate with various teams to drive operational efficiency and provide data-driven insights.
You have a strong background in sales strategy and operations, ideally with experience in the government and education sectors. Your analytical skills allow you to provide data-driven insights that influence business decisions and drive operational efficiency. You thrive in cross-functional environments, collaborating with finance, enablement, and growth strategy teams to align efforts and accelerate growth. You are comfortable managing core operating cadences and have a knack for leading high-impact projects that engage government customers effectively.
You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to serve as a trusted advisor to leadership within OpenAI for Government and Education. Your ability to analyze data and present findings clearly helps in guiding strategic decisions. You understand the nuances of working with government entities and educational institutions, and you are passionate about leveraging AI to create transformative solutions for these sectors.
Experience in a technology-focused company, particularly in AI or software, would be a plus. Familiarity with sales forecasting, pipeline management, and business reviews will enhance your ability to succeed in this role. A background in project management or operations management is also beneficial, as it will help you navigate the complexities of the role effectively.
In this role, you will drive operating cadences for the Government and Education businesses, including forecasting, pipeline reviews, and monthly or quarterly business reviews. Your role will involve managing high-impact projects that influence how OpenAI engages with government customers, ensuring that the strategies implemented are effective and scalable.
