Skydio is seeking a Director of Hardware Engineering Program Management to lead their hardware engineering program management team. You'll oversee complex engineering programs and drive strategic initiatives. This role requires strong leadership and program management experience.

Who you are

You have extensive experience in hardware engineering program management, with a proven track record of leading teams and driving complex engineering projects from conception to launch. Your leadership skills are complemented by your ability to mentor and develop program managers, fostering a high-performing team culture. You understand the intricacies of hardware development and can effectively coordinate cross-functional efforts across various engineering disciplines, including firmware, electrical, and mechanical engineering. You are strategic in your planning and execution, ensuring that product requirements are clearly defined and communicated across teams. Your experience in the drone or autonomous systems industry is a plus, as it gives you insight into the unique challenges and opportunities in this field.

Desirable

Experience in the drone or aerospace industry would be beneficial, as would familiarity with autonomous systems and their development processes. A background in artificial intelligence or software product development can also enhance your ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the hardware engineering program management team at Skydio, overseeing the development of innovative drone technologies.
