Senior Software Engineer (Release Infrastructure)

Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, particularly in building and maintaining release infrastructure that supports high-availability applications. Your background includes a strong understanding of automation and CI/CD practices, which you have applied to streamline software delivery processes. You are proficient in Java and have experience with various infrastructure tools that enhance developer productivity. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.

You possess a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality, ensuring that the systems you build are reliable and secure. Your experience includes designing and implementing developer-facing infrastructure that reduces friction and enhances software quality. You are comfortable navigating complex technical challenges and are adept at finding innovative solutions that drive efficiency and effectiveness in software delivery.

Desirable

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is a plus, as is familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. What you'll do

In this role, you will take ownership of core systems that impact hundreds of engineers at Celonis. Your primary focus will be on accelerating delivery by leading efforts to reduce time to production across all services through improved automation and tooling. You will design and implement developer-facing infrastructure that minimizes friction and enhances software quality across engineering teams. Your contributions will directly influence the direction of our internal platform and how features are launched at Celonis.

You will collaborate closely with infrastructure, SRE, testing, and application teams to create a seamless, scalable, and resilient developer experience. Your work will involve identifying bottlenecks in the software delivery process and implementing solutions that enhance efficiency. You will also be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the reliability of the systems you build, ensuring they meet the high standards expected by our engineering teams.
