You have a solid understanding of insurance trends and risk management, particularly in the context of emerging technologies like autonomous driving. Your experience allows you to evaluate and quantify product liability, auto, cyber, and related risks effectively. You are skilled at collaborating with cross-functional teams, including legal, public policy, safety, security, and privacy experts, to ensure comprehensive risk management strategies are in place.

You thrive in a dynamic environment where you can contribute to the development of risk and insurance frameworks that support innovative technologies. Your analytical skills enable you to assess complex situations and provide actionable insights that protect users and the company's interests. You are detail-oriented and possess strong communication skills, allowing you to articulate risk assessments and recommendations clearly to stakeholders.

What you'll do

As a Claims Advocate at Waymo, you will play a crucial role in evaluating and managing risks associated with our autonomous driving technology. You will work closely with various teams to identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Your responsibilities will include advising on insurance trends and helping to build frameworks that protect our users and the company.

You will collaborate with business development, product partnership, strategy, and operations teams to ensure that the company's interests are safeguarded against existing, new, and emerging risks.
