Amazon is seeking a Customs Brokerage Specialist to manage daily customs clearance operations for cross-border shipments. In this role, you will manage daily customs clearance operations for ocean, air, rail, and truck shipments. You will verify the completeness of information upon onboarding customers and prepare import documentation to ensure timely release and delivery of orders. Your responsibilities will include verifying the accuracy of commercial documentation and charges, submitting documentation to regulatory agencies, and meeting daily and weekly KPI targets for entry submission and accuracy. You will collaborate with other service providers to resolve shipment issues and work closely with origin and destination logistics teams. Additionally, you will provide second-tier support for customer service queries, ensuring that all inquiries are addressed promptly and accurately. Your role will be crucial in maintaining compliance with customs regulations and enhancing the overall efficiency of the customs brokerage process.
