What you'll do

As an Engineering Operations Technician at Amazon, you will play a critical role in maintaining the heartbeat of our technology infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include operating and troubleshooting various electrical and mechanical systems, such as diesel generators, UPSs, and cooling systems. You will work closely with a team of engineers to ensure that all equipment is functioning optimally, contributing to our goal of achieving 99.999% uptime. You will be involved in routine maintenance tasks, as well as responding to any operational issues that arise. Your hands-on expertise will be essential in keeping our data centers running smoothly and efficiently.

You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with software, hardware, and network engineers, gaining insights into the broader aspects of data center operations. This role will challenge you to think critically and act swiftly in high-pressure situations, ensuring that our customers have continual access to the services they rely on.
