Relativity is seeking a Staff DevOps Engineer to help build rockets and advance aerospace manufacturing. You'll work with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes to optimize infrastructure and deployment processes. This role requires extensive experience in DevOps practices.

Who you are

You have extensive experience in DevOps engineering, with a strong focus on building and maintaining scalable infrastructure. Your expertise in AWS and cloud technologies allows you to design robust systems that support high-demand applications. You are proficient in containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes, enabling you to streamline deployment processes and enhance operational efficiency. Your background in Linux systems administration equips you with the skills to troubleshoot and optimize server performance effectively. You are familiar with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices, particularly using Terraform, which allows you to manage infrastructure through code and automate provisioning tasks. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of development and operations. You are passionate about continuous improvement and are always looking for ways to enhance processes and reduce downtime.

What you'll do

As a Staff DevOps Engineer at Relativity, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining the infrastructure that supports our rocket manufacturing processes. You will design and implement CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment and testing, ensuring that our software is delivered quickly and reliably. You will collaborate with software engineers to optimize application performance and scalability, providing guidance on best practices for cloud architecture. Your responsibilities will include monitoring system performance and implementing solutions to improve reliability and efficiency. You will also be involved in capacity planning, ensuring that our infrastructure can handle the growing demands of our operations. Additionally, you will mentor junior team members, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their roles. Your contributions will directly impact the success of our Terran R vehicle and the future of aerospace manufacturing.
