Handshake is seeking Editors for an AI Trainer contract role to evaluate AI model outputs and provide structured feedback. This position is remote and requires professional experience in content evaluation and editing.
You have at least 4 years of professional experience in a relevant field, which equips you with the context needed to evaluate and train AI models effectively. Your background may include editing and proofreading content, ensuring clarity and accuracy while enhancing readability. You are comfortable collaborating with authors on content revisions and overseeing publication production, adhering to deadlines and budgets. You possess strong communication skills that allow you to deliver clear and structured feedback, which is essential for improving AI understanding of workplace tasks and language.
While no specific AI experience is required, familiarity with AI concepts can be beneficial. You are adaptable and open to learning new skills, particularly in the context of AI applications in your field. Your ability to work independently and manage your time effectively will be crucial in this role, as the work is flexible and asynchronous.
In this role, you will contribute to an hourly, temporary AI research project by evaluating the outputs generated by AI models in your area of expertise. You will develop prompts that accurately reflect your field, allowing the AI to generate relevant responses. Your evaluations will help strengthen the model's understanding of specific workplace tasks and language nuances. You will work independently, with the flexibility to choose your hours, averaging between 5 to 20 hours per week.
