SpaceX is seeking a Supply Chain Planning Manager to enable production flow and support launch manifest. You'll work closely with engineering and manufacturing departments to develop effective supply chain strategies. This role requires experience in material requirements planning and supplier management.
You have a strong background in supply chain management, with experience in material requirements planning and purchasing. You understand the technical feasibility of work content and can evaluate suppliers' capabilities and limitations. You are proactive in developing new methods or processes to ensure the highest quality products and efficient operations. You have excellent communication skills, allowing you to inform Design For Manufacturability (DFM) discussions based on vendor feedback. You take ownership of team efforts to develop and implement sourcing and cost management strategies that support both existing platforms and new product development. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to achieve production goals.
In this role, you will play an integral part in enabling production flow and supporting the launch manifest at SpaceX. You will coordinate closely with engineering and manufacturing departments to execute effective supply chain strategies. Your responsibilities will include managing supplier delivery, dock-to-stock coordination, and inventory levels management. You will evaluate the technical feasibility of work content and ensure that partners are prepared to support prototype builds with the appropriate equipment and materials. You will also take initiative in developing new methods or processes to enhance product quality and operational efficiency. Your role will require you to inform DFM discussions based on vendor feedback, ensuring that all aspects of production are aligned with the company's goals.
