Carta is seeking a Director of HR to lead people strategies and support organizational growth. You'll partner with executives and lead a team of HR Business Partners. This role requires strong leadership and strategic thinking skills.
You are an experienced HR leader with a proven track record of driving people strategies in a fast-paced environment. With over 5 years of experience in HR management, you have successfully partnered with business executives to align HR initiatives with organizational goals. You possess strong leadership skills and have experience managing a team of HR Business Partners, guiding them to support the growth and culture of the organization. You understand the importance of shaping company culture and are passionate about creating an inclusive and engaging workplace.
You have a strategic mindset and are adept at analyzing organizational needs to develop effective HR solutions. Your ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels allows you to influence and drive change within the organization. You are comfortable navigating complex HR challenges and are skilled in conflict resolution and employee relations. You are committed to fostering a positive work environment and are dedicated to the professional development of your team.
Experience in the tech industry or with startups is a plus, as is familiarity with HR technology and data analytics. You have a strong understanding of employment laws and regulations and are able to ensure compliance while promoting best practices in HR.
In this role, you will lead the HR function at Carta, partnering closely with business leaders to drive people strategies that support organizational growth. You will oversee the HR Business Partner team, ensuring they are equipped to provide strategic support to their respective departments. You will be responsible for developing and implementing HR initiatives that enhance employee engagement, performance, and retention. You will also play a key role in shaping Carta's culture, ensuring it aligns with the company's mission and values.
You will collaborate with the People Team to design and execute programs that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization. You will analyze HR metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement, using data to inform decision-making and drive strategic initiatives. You will lead talent management efforts, including succession planning and leadership development, to ensure a strong pipeline of future leaders.
