Overview

Box is seeking an Enterprise Account Executive to drive sales within the State and Local Government sector. You'll work closely with senior sales leaders to source and close new business opportunities. This role requires strong sales skills and a focus on digital transformation.

You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in the enterprise sector, and understand the unique challenges faced by state and local government organizations. Your ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels sets you apart. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are eager to work alongside senior sales leaders to achieve ambitious goals. You are results-driven and have a passion for helping organizations realize their digital transformation objectives.

Desirable

Experience in selling technology solutions to government entities is a plus. Familiarity with content management systems and enterprise AI will enhance your ability to connect with potential clients. You are adaptable and can navigate the complexities of government procurement processes. A background in account management or business development will be beneficial as you engage with both new and existing customers.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing and closing net new logos within the state and local government sector. You will leverage your sales expertise to identify opportunities and develop strategies that align with the needs of your clients. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will ensure that Box's solutions are effectively positioned to meet the unique requirements of government organizations. You will engage in consultative selling, understanding the pain points of your clients and demonstrating how Box can address them.

You will also work closely with senior sales leaders, gaining insights and mentorship that will help you grow in your career. Your role will involve regular communication with clients, providing updates on product offerings and ensuring their satisfaction with Box's services. You will track your sales activities and performance metrics, using data to inform your strategies and drive results.
