VP, OS Engineering

Meta is building technologies that help people connect, explore, and unlock opportunities in the metaverse. The metaverse is the next evolution of social connection, enabling immersive experiences across many platforms. Delivering on this vision requires a next-generation operating system—one designed to push the boundaries of power efficiency and performance. We are seeking an engineering leader to drive the development of our operating system that powers Meta’s mixed reality and VR devices. In this role, you will lead the team responsible for building and evolving this software stack, guiding it through every stage of our product launches. You’ll collaborate closely with our Silicon and Device engineering teams to deliver the technology foundation that enables the next generation of VR devices. You will be expected to live, eat and breathe product experiences and product quality. You will be expected to enable 1/2/3P developers to build experiences on our platforms. We are looking for a leader with a solid technical foundation and experience effectively leading large software organizations with a background in hardware.
