Carvana is seeking an Experienced Heavy Body Technician to perform extensive bodywork and train other technicians. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of professional automotive bodywork experience.
You have a minimum of 5 years of professional automotive bodywork experience, demonstrating your expertise in various bodywork techniques. Your background includes heavy plastic welding, metal pulling, and extensive repairs on multiple vehicle panels. You are skilled in using state-of-the-art tools and are committed to delivering high-quality work. You possess strong communication skills, enabling you to effectively train and mentor other autobody technicians. You thrive in a team environment and are willing to work mandatory overtime when necessary to meet customer demands. Your attention to detail ensures that every vehicle you work on meets the highest standards of quality.
Experience with advanced bodywork techniques and familiarity with the latest automotive repair technologies would be advantageous. A background in training or mentoring junior technicians is also a plus, as you will be expected to share your knowledge and skills with others in the team.
As an Experienced Heavy Body Technician at Carvana, you will be responsible for performing extensive bodywork on various vehicle panels, including heavy plastic welding, metal pulling, and Bondo repair. You will work on roof and rocker panel repairs, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards. In addition to your technical responsibilities, you will also play a key role in training and mentoring other autobody technicians, sharing your expertise and helping them develop their skills. You will be expected to maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and best practices in automotive repair.
