Overview

Relativity is seeking a Senior Global Supply Manager for their Gas & Fuels team to oversee supply chain operations for the Terran R rocket. This role requires expertise in managing raw materials and capital to ensure successful production. Competitive salary range is $127,000—$162,000 USD.

Job Description

Who you are

You have extensive experience in supply chain management, particularly in the aerospace or manufacturing sectors. Your background includes overseeing procurement processes and managing supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery of materials. You understand the complexities of balancing lead time, cost, and manufacturability, and you thrive in environments where you can actively shape solutions rather than just execute tasks. You are a problem solver at heart, always looking for innovative ways to optimize supply chain operations and improve efficiency.

You possess strong analytical skills and are comfortable using data to drive decision-making. Your ability to collaborate across teams is essential, as you will work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and other departments to align supply chain strategies with overall business goals. You are proactive in identifying potential challenges and developing contingency plans to mitigate risks in the supply chain.

Your communication skills are top-notch, allowing you to effectively convey complex information to stakeholders at all levels. You are adept at negotiating with suppliers and ensuring that contracts are favorable for your organization. You understand the importance of building strong relationships with vendors and are committed to fostering a collaborative environment.

Desirable

Experience in the aerospace industry is a plus, as is familiarity with regulatory requirements related to materials and supply chain processes. A background in project management can also be beneficial, as you will be responsible for overseeing multiple initiatives simultaneously.

What you'll do

As a Senior Global Supply Manager at Relativity, you will play a critical role in the success of the Terran R rocket program. You will be responsible for managing the supply chain for gas and fuels, ensuring that all materials are sourced efficiently and cost-effectively. Your role will involve collaborating with engineering teams to understand their material needs and translating those requirements into actionable procurement strategies.

You will lead efforts to identify and qualify new suppliers, negotiating contracts that align with the company's goals and budget. Monitoring supplier performance will be a key part of your responsibilities, as you will need to ensure that all vendors meet quality and delivery standards. You will also be tasked with developing and implementing supply chain processes that enhance efficiency and reduce lead times.

In addition to managing day-to-day operations, you will analyze supply chain data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Your insights will help shape strategic decisions that impact the overall success of the program. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project timelines and deliverables, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.

What we offer

Relativity offers a competitive salary range of $127,000—$162,000 USD, along with a comprehensive benefits package. You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment where your contributions will directly impact the future of space exploration. We value diversity and encourage applicants from all backgrounds to apply. Join us in our mission to revolutionize the aerospace industry and make a lasting impact on the world.
