Reddit is seeking a Staff Product Designer for their Ads Platform team to shape the strategic vision and lead the design of innovative tools for advertisers. You'll work with Figma and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams. This role is fully remote within the United States.
You have extensive experience in product design, ideally with a focus on advertising or monetization platforms — your portfolio showcases your ability to create intuitive and user-centered designs that drive engagement and conversion. You are proficient in Figma and have a strong understanding of design systems and user experience principles. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure that design solutions align with business goals and user needs.
You possess a deep understanding of the advertising landscape and the challenges faced by advertisers — this insight allows you to create designs that not only look good but also solve real problems for users. You are skilled in conducting user research and usability testing, using data to inform your design decisions and iterate on your work. You have a keen eye for detail and a passion for simplifying complex interactions, making the user experience as seamless as possible.
Experience with analytics tools and understanding of how to leverage data to improve design outcomes is a plus. Familiarity with agile methodologies and experience working in cross-functional teams will help you succeed in this role. As a Staff Product Designer on the Ads UX team, you will lead the design efforts for our Ads Manager tools, ensuring they are user-friendly and effective for advertisers. You will collaborate with product managers and engineers to define the product vision and translate it into high-fidelity designs that meet user needs. You will conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and validate your design concepts, iterating based on feedback to enhance the user experience.
You will be responsible for creating and maintaining design documentation, including style guides and design systems, to ensure consistency across the product. You will mentor junior designers, providing guidance and support as they develop their skills and contribute to the team. Your role will involve presenting design concepts to stakeholders and advocating for user-centered design principles throughout the organization.
