You are open to participating in an on-call rotation, demonstrating your commitment to keeping the cloud running seamlessly.

What you'll do

As a Data Center Technician at Amazon, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the heartbeat of AWS's global cloud infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include performing in-depth hardware and network diagnostics, followed by physical repairs to ensure that all systems are operational. You will collaborate with a team of software, hardware, and network engineers to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. You will participate in an on-call rotation, responding to incidents and ensuring minimal downtime for our customers. Your role will involve working with various equipment, including servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling systems, to support the continuous operation of AWS data centers. You will also contribute to maintaining safety and security standards while delivering high-quality service to our customers. Your work will directly impact the reliability and efficiency of AWS services, making you an integral part of the team.
