Do you love shopping on Amazon.com and want to help make that experience even better? Then we have a great opportunity for you. We're looking for a highly motivated Software Development Manager for the Store Testing Foundations (STF) team, which operates Store Test Service (STS) as a centralized testing service that enables end-to-end cross-platform testing (web and mobile app) with write mostly once capabilities using a common test step library implemented as a managed service, eliminating the need for teams to build and maintain their own automated testing infrastructure library.

You will contribute to the automated testing strategy for the Amazon Store. You will build the next gen, AI-enabled, automation solutions to rapidly test the CX changes that will ensure Amazon shoppers enjoy a high quality shopping experience when discovering and purchasing any product or service on any platform. You will look for the bottlenecks in delivery process, come up with the proposal to remove those via automation and build the solution. You will build roadmap and grow the team to perform in a high gear.

You’ll be a leading voice of automation across the org, and your solutions will be used by the hundreds of engineers across Amazon. Your team will develop using native AWS to expand existing services and build new ones. You will be the part of a team consisting of talented senior engineers, principal engineers, and product managers who will further push you to learn and grow.

* Learn & Grow: You will learn and grow with challenges across multiple applications and stack- 3+ years of engineering team management experience
- 7+ years of engineering experience
- 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experience
- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations
- Experience partnering with product or program management teams- Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy
- Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills, and make them more effective, product software engineers

The base salary for this position ranges from $171,400/year up to $286,200/year. Salary is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
