The successful candidate will be insightful, with a keen eye for detail and analytics, and have a demonstrated ability to both deliver high quality content and influence the decisions of senior business leaders. We are looking for exceptional verbal and written communication, strong financial acumen, and the ability to derive insights in an ambiguous context with a lot of moving pieces. The role operates in a fast-paced, global, results-oriented environment, and will be part of the central team that supports the WW Books & Digital Content Finance org.
Key job responsibilities
• Lead core FP&A deliverables and processes for the WW Books & Digital Content Finance org.
• Partner with country marketplace and business program Finance leads on key planning and reporting deliverables, analytical deep dives, and Think Big initiatives.
• Oversee the BI and Reporting roadmap for WW Books & Digital Content Finance, including tools and technology
• Design and run Process Excellence, including building out tenets, operating best practices, and overseeing training for our Finance teams, coordinating, authoring, or leading as relevant.
• Opportunity to influence and engage on additional ad hoc analytical projects spanning areas such as Pricing, Net PPM, or Topline Growth, customer economics, and the financial impact of business strategies.
- 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- BA or BS in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, Computer Science) and 5+ years of finance experience, or Master’s degree and 3+ years of finance experience- MBA, or CPA
- 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience
- 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
- Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
