Apple is hiring a Senior Hardware Engineer to lead technical engagements with silicon and IP suppliers. You have significant experience in silicon development, spanning all phases from micro-architecture specification to post-silicon activities such as validation and characterization. Your background includes knowledge of digital, analog, and memory technology product development, which is essential for high-volume manufacturing. You are adept at statistical analysis and understand the intricacies of productization tasks required for successful silicon implementation.
You thrive in collaborative environments and have a proven track record of driving technical engagements between companies and suppliers. Your ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively is one of your key strengths. In this role, you will lead technical engagements with silicon and IP suppliers, ensuring that Apple’s silicon products meet the highest standards of quality and performance. Your expertise will guide the team in executing pre-silicon activities such as simulation and emulation, as well as post-silicon tasks including bring-up and qualification.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including design, validation, and manufacturing, to ensure seamless integration of silicon technologies into Apple’s products. Your role will involve analyzing data and providing insights that drive decision-making processes, ultimately contributing to the successful launch of innovative products.
You will also be tasked with identifying and mitigating risks throughout the silicon development lifecycle, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time and within specifications. Your leadership will foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the team, as you work to push the boundaries of what is possible in silicon technology.
