Who you are

You have a strong background in machine learning and data analysis, with at least 5 years of experience in building and deploying machine learning models. Your expertise in Python and TensorFlow allows you to create efficient algorithms that drive product innovation. You understand the importance of data quality and have experience in data preprocessing and feature engineering. You are comfortable working with cloud platforms like AWS to deploy machine learning solutions at scale. You have a collaborative mindset and enjoy working with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions. You are passionate about leveraging technology to support independent businesses and drive positive economic impact in local communities.

Desirable

Experience with large-scale data processing and distributed systems is a plus. Familiarity with additional machine learning frameworks and tools will set you apart. You have a keen interest in the wholesale marketplace and understand the challenges faced by independent retailers.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the design and execution of Faire's machine learning platform, ensuring it meets the needs of our wholesale marketplace. You will collaborate with product managers and engineers to identify opportunities for machine learning applications that enhance customer experiences and marketplace efficiency. Your responsibilities will include developing and optimizing machine learning models, conducting experiments to validate model performance, and iterating on solutions based on feedback and data insights. You will also mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and best practices in machine learning and data analysis. Your work will directly contribute to the success of independent retailers by providing them with the tools and insights they need to compete effectively.
