Carvana is seeking an Auto Painter to join their team in Old Hickory, TN. You'll be responsible for priming vehicles, performing final sanding, and executing painting tasks. This role requires a minimum of 1 year of professional automotive painting experience.
You have at least 1 year of professional automotive painting experience, demonstrating your ability to handle various painting tasks with precision and care. You understand the importance of preparing vehicles properly, including priming and sanding, to ensure a flawless finish. Your attention to detail is evident in your work, as you take pride in buffing and performing touch-ups to achieve high-quality results. You are familiar with paint mixing and airbrush techniques, which are essential for this role. You are eager to learn and grow, especially if you are starting in an entry-level position, as Carvana offers training programs to help you develop your skills further.
While not required, any additional experience with automotive repair or knowledge of different paint types can be beneficial. A willingness to adapt and learn new techniques will set you apart as a candidate. You should also be comfortable working in a team environment, collaborating with others to ensure that vehicles are prepared efficiently and effectively.
As an Auto Painter at Carvana, you will be responsible for preparing vehicles for painting, which includes priming and sanding to create a smooth surface. You will mix paints to achieve the desired colors and finishes, ensuring that the paint adheres properly to the vehicle's surface. Your role will also involve buffing and performing touch-ups to maintain the quality of the paint job. You will utilize state-of-the-art tools in one of our high-tech Inspection Centers, contributing to the overall efficiency and quality of our operations. You will work closely with other team members to ensure that vehicles are ready for delivery to customers, maintaining Carvana's reputation for excellence.
