Key job responsibilities
- Collaborate with Principal Engineers to shape the technical and architectural vision for our large item and service data models and systems.
- Architect and implement extensible frameworks managing the entire lifecycle of large item and service transactions on our platform.
- Develop innovative solutions for complex challenges in fulfillment planning, last-mile execution, return prevention, concession reduction, post-order care, and multi-box fulfillment.
- Create a scalable platform integrating external partners for efficient fulfillment and execution.
- Spearhead the design and development of solutions supporting diverse operational models and supply sources, ensuring adaptability and scalability.
- Champion the adoption of pioneering technologies and develop efficient algorithms for processing large datasets.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to engineering teams, fostering best practices in design, coding, testability, and security.- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
- 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
- Deep technical expertise and hands-on architectural understanding of cloud-scale distributed and service-oriented architectures.- 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Master's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Have had impact and influence across multiple teams ·
