You are an Engineering Technician with a strong foundation in electrical and mechanical systems — you understand the intricacies of maintaining mission-critical technology infrastructure and have hands-on experience troubleshooting complex equipment. Your expertise in AWS infrastructure services allows you to contribute effectively to the seamless operation of data centers, ensuring that global digital experiences remain uninterrupted. You possess a solid understanding of electrical systems, including three-phase electrical systems, switch gear, UPSs, and PDUs — your ability to operate and maintain these systems is crucial for the role. Additionally, your knowledge of mechanical systems such as centrifugal chillers, cooling towers, and air handlers equips you to handle the various challenges that arise in a data center environment. You are detail-oriented and committed to achieving high standards of operational excellence.
Experience with diesel generators and fuel systems is a plus, as it enhances your capability to manage the power systems that support data center operations. Familiarity with troubleshooting techniques and a proactive approach to maintenance will set you apart as a candidate. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting the electrical and mechanical systems that support Amazon's data centers — your work will directly impact the uptime and reliability of critical infrastructure.
