Tanium is hiring a Cloud Cybersecurity Engineer specializing in IAM to collaborate with security and software engineers in building and defending Tanium Cloud's identity and access management systems. You'll work with AWS, Azure, and Kubernetes to implement strong security controls.
You have a strong background in cloud cybersecurity, particularly in Identity and Access Management (IAM), and are familiar with cloud service providers like AWS and Azure. You possess the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Detection, Security, and Software Engineers, to enhance security measures. Your experience includes operating IAM systems and implementing security controls using infrastructure-as-code and policy-as-code methodologies. You stay updated on the latest IAM security threats and vulnerabilities, ensuring proactive measures are in place to protect Tanium Cloud.
Experience with Kubernetes and a solid understanding of security best practices in cloud environments are highly desirable. Familiarity with scripting and automation tools will also be beneficial in this role.
As a Cloud Cybersecurity Engineer at Tanium, you will be responsible for operating and enhancing the IAM systems within Tanium Cloud's infrastructure. You will collaborate with various teams to implement IAM strategies that enable just-in-time and just-enough access for Tanium personnel. Your role will involve assessing existing IAM policies and permissions, making recommendations for improvements, and authoring, testing, and deploying AWS IAM policies and Azure Conditional Access Policies tailored to Tanium Cloud. You will also provide support to Tanium employees needing assistance with access to the cloud environment, ensuring a seamless experience.
