Amazon is seeking an Onsite Medical Representative to support workplace health and safety initiatives. You'll work closely with the WHS team to provide first aid and guidance on health and wellness principles. This role requires experience in medical support and a commitment to safety excellence.
You have experience in providing medical support in a workplace setting, ideally as an Onsite Medical Representative or in a similar role. You are knowledgeable about OSHA regulations and have a strong understanding of health and wellness principles. Your ability to assess and administer first aid independently is crucial, as is your capacity to guide associates on both occupational and non-occupational injuries or illnesses. You thrive in collaborative environments and are comfortable participating in safety committee meetings and case management reviews. You are passionate about advocating for the health and wellbeing of your colleagues and are eager to learn and grow in your role.
In this position, you will work closely with the WHS Site Manager and WHS Specialist to ensure a safe working environment for all associates. You will greet new hires and engage with associates daily to promote health and safety practices. Your responsibilities will include providing first aid support and making referrals to outside medical providers as necessary. You will participate in weekly safety meetings and case management reviews, contributing to the overall safety strategy of the site. You will also assist with injury prevention initiatives and support the WHS team in implementing best practices for workplace health and safety. Your role is vital in fostering a culture of safety and wellbeing at Amazon.
