Sitetracker is hiring a Salesforce Engineer I to develop custom features on the Sitetracker package. You'll work directly with customers to translate their business problems into technical solutions, utilizing skills in Apex and Lightning Web Components. This entry-level position offers a clear path for technical growth within the organization.
You are an entry-level engineer with a strong technical aptitude and a keen interest in developing custom features on the Sitetracker package. You write reasonably efficient, bulk-safe Apex classes and triggers, and you understand and implement OOP concepts effectively. You are familiar with the fundamentals of limits and governor constraints, and you have experience building Lightning Web Components (LWCs). Your ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, allows you to convey technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. You thrive on working with internal stakeholders throughout the feature development lifecycle, from initial planning through to deployment.
In this role, you will develop moderately complex custom features on top of the Sitetracker package to address specific gaps in customer business processes. You will work directly with customers to translate their unique business problems into technical solutions, ensuring high code quality while adhering to customer timelines. You will manage multiple concurrent projects, handling 2-3 high-effort and 4-5 medium-effort projects simultaneously, or supporting 5-6 customers at a time. Your experience in delivering high-quality work within tight deadlines will be crucial, demonstrating strong prioritization ability, efficiency, and attention to detail under pressure.
Sitetracker provides a supportive environment for engineers to grow technically and advance their careers. You will have the opportunity to work closely with customers, gaining valuable insights into their needs and challenges. The role serves as a foundational position within the restructured FDE group, offering a clear path for technical growth and future seniority within the organization. You will be part of a collaborative team that values communication and efficiency, ensuring that you are well-equipped to succeed in your role.
