Who you are

You have extensive experience as a Network Technician, ideally with 5+ years in supporting large-scale, enterprise-class networks. You are skilled in network implementation and troubleshooting, and you understand the intricacies of capacity management in data center environments. Your background includes working with AWS infrastructure, and you are familiar with best practices in network operations. You thrive in collaborative settings, engaging with both internal customers and external vendors to ensure smooth project execution. You are proactive in refining operational procedures and establishing best practices to enhance network stability and performance.

Desirable

Experience with automation tools and scripting languages is a plus, as is familiarity with network monitoring tools. You may also have certifications in networking or cloud technologies, which would further bolster your qualifications for this role.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for driving the stability and sustainability of AWS's next-generation networks. You will assist in capacity scaling support across several data center locations, ensuring that the network infrastructure can handle increasing demands. Your day-to-day tasks will involve collaborating with Network Scaling Leadership and Technical Program Managers to facilitate project execution. You will leverage your expertise to troubleshoot network issues and implement solutions that enhance operational efficiency. Additionally, you will be involved in the development of innovative ways to automate and scale network operations, contributing to the overall success of AWS infrastructure services.
