Overview

OneOncology is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join their University Cancer & Blood Center teams in Athens and Snellville, GA. You'll provide comprehensive patient care in a collaborative environment, supporting evaluations and treatment planning. Experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is preferred, and new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Job Description

Who you are

You are a dedicated and compassionate Advanced Practice Provider (APP) with a background as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, ideally with experience in hematology and oncology. You understand the importance of patient relationships and are committed to providing high-quality cancer care. You are willing to travel between clinic locations in Athens and Snellville, GA, and are open to new graduates looking to start their careers in this field.

You possess the necessary board certifications (NP-C/PA-C) and are eager to contribute to a collaborative and learning environment. You value thoughtful clinical judgment and are motivated to support patients through their treatment journeys. Your ability to work closely with an experienced physician will enhance the comprehensive care provided to patients.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting evaluations, follow-up visits, and treatment planning for patients at the University Cancer & Blood Center. You will work primarily at the Snellville clinic on Mondays and Wednesdays, and at the Athens clinic on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Your responsibilities will include conducting patient assessments, collaborating with the healthcare team, and ensuring that patients receive personalized support throughout their treatment.

You will play a crucial role in advancing the mission of the University Cancer & Blood Center by providing coordinated care and building strong relationships with patients. Your contributions will help improve patient outcomes and enhance the overall quality of care delivered at both clinic locations. You will also have the opportunity to participate in ongoing training and professional development to further your skills and knowledge in the field of hematology and oncology.
