Fonoa is seeking a Solutions Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing team and drive technical excellence in pre-sales support. You'll collaborate with Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams to enhance customer outcomes. This role requires strong leadership and strategic planning skills.
You have a proven track record of leading teams in a technical environment, with at least 5 years of experience in solutions engineering or a related field. Your leadership style is hands-on, and you thrive in a collaborative atmosphere where you can support your team while also engaging directly with clients. You possess strong communication skills, enabling you to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You are adept at developing strategies that align with business goals and have experience in driving revenue growth through effective solutions engineering practices.
Experience in the digital economy or tax automation is a plus, as is familiarity with the challenges faced by global businesses in compliance and tax obligations. You have a background in working closely with sales teams and understand the nuances of pre-sales processes. Your ability to foster a culture of curiosity and continuous improvement within your team sets you apart as a leader.
As the Solutions Engineering Manager at Fonoa, you will lead and scale a team of Solutions Engineers, ensuring they deliver world-class technical guidance and pre-sales support. You will operate as a player/coach, directly supporting your team while also partnering with Account Executives on enterprise deals. Your role will involve shaping and executing the Solutions Engineering strategy to support revenue growth and product adoption, collaborating closely with Sales leadership to align resources with enterprise opportunities and customer segments. You will develop scalable processes and methodologies that drive operational excellence and support high-impact customer engagements, demonstrating Fonoa’s platform value to various stakeholders.
You will act as a bridge between the Solutions Engineering team and the Product and Engineering teams, translating customer feedback into actionable product insights. Your leadership will foster a culture of curiosity and innovation, encouraging your team to explore new ideas and approaches to enhance customer satisfaction and drive business success.
