SpaceX is hiring a Senior ASIC Design Verification Engineer to develop next-generation ASICs for space and ground infrastructures. You'll work with Embedded Linux, C, C++, and Python to enable connectivity solutions. This role requires a strong background in ASIC design verification.
You have 5+ years of experience in ASIC design verification, with a strong foundation in both C and C++. Your expertise in Embedded Linux allows you to navigate complex systems and contribute to the development of cutting-edge technologies. You are proficient in Python, which you use for scripting and automation tasks in your verification processes. You thrive in collaborative environments, working alongside cross-disciplinary teams to achieve common goals. Your proactive and intellectually curious nature drives you to seek innovative solutions to challenging problems. You understand the importance of delivering reliable and efficient designs, especially in high-stakes environments like aerospace.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing verification plans for next-generation ASICs that will be deployed in SpaceX's satellite systems. You will collaborate closely with systems, firmware, architecture, and design teams to ensure that the ASICs meet stringent performance and reliability standards. Your work will involve creating testbenches, writing verification code, and conducting simulations to validate design functionality. You will also participate in design reviews and provide feedback to improve design quality.
