Customer Engineer, Application Modernization (Hungarian)

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience and at least 4 years of experience with cloud native architecture and development methodologies, particularly in modernizing legacy applications. Your background includes engaging with technical stakeholders and executive leaders, showcasing your ability to communicate effectively in Hungarian to connect with clients in the region. You possess experience in platform engineering, which encompasses infrastructure-as-code, automation, image management, and repository management. Your familiarity with virtualization deployments, container deployments, application security, and networking further enhances your profile.

You are comfortable developing scalable architectures using API management and microservice frameworks, and you have a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle. Your experience includes prospecting, building, and maintaining customer relationships from scratch, particularly in enterprise accounts, and you thrive in building Greenfield territories.

Desirable

While not mandatory, experience with one or more programming languages will be beneficial in this role. Your ability to facilitate educational institutions, government agencies, and businesses in adopting Google Cloud products will be a key aspect of your work.

What you'll do

In this role, you will facilitate the modernization of applications for various clients, ensuring their transition to hybrid-cloud computing models is smooth and effective. You will execute prototyping workshops to validate proposed architectures, develop best practices, and document requirements for prioritization with engineering teams. Your role will involve traveling to customer sites, conferences, and other related events, acting as a public advocate for Google Cloud. You will collaborate closely with product marketing management and engineering teams to stay updated on industry trends and devise enhancements for application modernization.

Your responsibilities will include problem-solving key technical issues for customers and assisting fellow sales Googlers in delivering exceptional service. You will listen to customer needs and deliver solutions that enhance productivity, mobility, and collaboration. Your ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders will be crucial in this role, as you will be the bridge between technical teams and clients.
