What you'll do

As a Staff Software Engineer at Robinhood, you will play a crucial role in developing the tokenization engine that enables trading of public and private equity 24/7. You will design and implement distributed systems that are robust, secure, and scalable, ensuring they meet the demands of modern financial applications. You will collaborate with six external teams, including trading engine, equity metadata, user portfolio, equity market data, and crypto custody, to integrate various components of the system effectively.

You will be responsible for driving technical decisions and architectural design, ensuring that the systems you build are not only functional but also maintainable and efficient. Your work will directly impact how assets are traded on the Robinhood app and across decentralized exchanges, making your contributions vital to the company's mission of democratizing finance.

You will also engage in code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to the overall engineering culture at Robinhood. Your insights and expertise will help shape the future of the team and the technology stack we use.
