Google is seeking a Supervisor for their Global Security Operations Center in Bengaluru. You'll lead incident response and crisis management while utilizing security technologies like CCTV and Access Control. This role requires 5+ years of experience in law enforcement or security operations.
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience and at least 5 years of experience in law enforcement, intelligence, military roles, or equivalent private sector experience. You thrive in dynamic organizations and have a strong understanding of security operations that deliver high-quality, customer-oriented security programs. Your expertise includes security technologies such as CCTV, Access Control, and Incident Management Systems, and you possess excellent judgment, discretion, and diplomacy skills when managing highly confidential information.
You are fluent in English and Hindi, enabling you to effectively communicate with local stakeholders. Your critical thinking and decision-making skills allow you to take initiative while building cross-functional relationships. You understand global geopolitical trends, emerging threats, and risks, which informs your approach to security management. You are committed to maintaining high ethical standards in all aspects of your work.
Experience with innovative security strategies and risk assessment plans is a plus. You have a background in managing teams and ensuring quality control in security operations. Your ability to lead incident response and crisis management on a given shift is essential, as is your experience in report writing and verbal briefings.
In this role, you will lead the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) in incident response and crisis management during your shifts. You will fully manage smaller incidents and provide support to the overall Global Security and Resilience Services (GSRS) team for wider emergencies. Your responsibilities will include ensuring quality control of all items created during your shift, including report writing, verbal briefings, and standardization of customer service practices.
You will collaborate closely with the Facilities Management team to create innovative security strategies and investigate breaches. Your role will involve creating risk assessment plans for the future, ensuring that security measures do not compromise customer service. You will maintain the team schedule and ensure adequate coverage on shift, fostering a culture of excellence and responsiveness within the GSOC.
