Relativity is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer for their Factory Automation team to design tools and fixtures for rocket production. You'll work with AutoCAD and SolidWorks to enable the manufacturing of the Terran R vehicle. This position requires significant experience in mechanical design engineering.
You have 5+ years of experience in mechanical design engineering, specifically in factory automation or related fields. Your expertise in AutoCAD and SolidWorks allows you to create detailed designs that meet both functional and aesthetic requirements. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are practical and efficient. You possess a strong understanding of materials and manufacturing processes, enabling you to make informed design decisions that optimize production. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing tooling and fixtures that support the production of the Terran R vehicle.
