Overview

Amazon is seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead the Customer Purchase Journey team. You'll define product vision and strategy while collaborating with cross-functional teams. This role requires extensive experience in product management.

Who you are

You have a strong background in product management, with at least 5 years of experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver impactful products. Your expertise lies in defining product vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs. You are adept at managing the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to execution, and have a proven track record of driving successful product launches. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to effectively collaborate with engineers, designers, and stakeholders across the organization. You are data-driven, using metrics to inform decisions and measure success, and you thrive in a fast-paced environment where you can make a significant impact.

Desirable

Experience in e-commerce or related fields is a plus, as is familiarity with customer experience design and optimization. You have a passion for understanding customer behavior and translating insights into actionable product features. A background in technical product management is beneficial, as you will be working closely with engineering teams to deliver complex solutions. You are comfortable with agile methodologies and have experience in conducting user research and A/B testing to validate product ideas.

What you'll do

In this role, you will take ownership of the product roadmap for the Customer Purchase Journey team at Amazon. You will work closely with engineering, design, and program management teams to define and prioritize features that enhance the customer shopping experience. Your responsibilities will include conducting market research to identify customer needs and trends, as well as analyzing data to inform product decisions. You will lead cross-functional meetings to ensure alignment on product goals and timelines, and you will be responsible for communicating progress and updates to stakeholders.

You will also be involved in defining success metrics for your products, ensuring that you have clear goals to measure performance against. You will collaborate with marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies and ensure that product launches are successful.
